I found these gorgeous images on Wallpaper. These detailed interiors were created and curated by Ilse Crawford of Studioilse for the first joint exhibition of design brands Vitra and Artek. They represent an apartment belonging to a fictional creative couple; Hari and Astrid, who have the very aspirational jobs of musician and set designer! This make-believe home has been beautifully assembled in the Vitrahaus loft in Weil am Rhein, Germany which is also the location of Swiss design company Vitra's flagship store. (Here you can also view furniture displays in a showroom comprising four floors as well as a shop, the Lounge Chair Atelier and a café).
This exhibition has been set up to mark Vitra's recent takeover of the furniture design company Artek which was originally founded in 1935 by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, his wife Aino, art promoter Maire Gullichsen and art historian Nils-Gustav Hahl. The exhibition is also a way of displaying their collections in a more down to earth, true to life way.
The loft has been loosely divided into a living and work area. Lots of inspiration..!
